The SR-71 outran every missile ever fired at it. Titanium skin, JP-7 fuel, and speeds that stretched the airframe. Retired 1998. Still unmatched.
Fun fact
The SR-71 leaked fuel on the ground because its titanium panels were designed to expand and seal at Mach 3 temperatures.
How to spot one
All retired. If you see one, it's in a museum. Distinctive delta fuselage, twin engines with large nacelles. The fastest airplane ever.
Crews call it
The Blackbird
Sounds like

One might be overhead right now.
