The story
The Model 525 line, from the original CitationJet through the CJ1 to today's M2, is Cessna's entry-level bizjet: small, efficient and built to be flown by its owner. It's what happens when a successful person decides driving is too slow and airlines are too inconvenient.
Instead of thrust reversers, early CitationJets slow down with paddles that swing out behind the engines, a trick borrowed from Cessna's T-37 military trainer.
