The story
The Legacy 500 was Embraer's clean-sheet super-midsize jet: full fly-by-wire with sidesticks, a flat-floor cabin you can stand up in, and Honeywell HTF7500E engines. In 2019 it gained extra fuel and thrust and became the Praetor 600, good for about 4,000 nautical miles nonstop. It shares its shape with the shorter Legacy 450 and Praetor 500.
The Praetor 600 is a Legacy 500 with two extra fuel tanks in the belly and more powerful engines, which stretched its range from about 3,100 to 4,000 nautical miles.
