Breeze Airways
David Neeleman's fifth airline — the same guy who founded JetBlue, Azul, WestJet, and Morris Air. Breeze serves 'forgotten' city pairs that no one else flies nonstop. No hubs, no connections, just 'why hasn't anyone done this before?'
Breeze was going to be called Moxy, and the old name never fully left. The airline became Breeze in February 2020, but kept the MX and MXY codes, so air traffic control still calls its jets 'MOXY'.
Quick answers
What is Breeze Airways' callsign?
"MOXY". On the radio a flight is called by that word plus its flight number, and on a live map its callsign starts with MXY.
What are Breeze Airways' airline codes?
ICAO MXY, IATA MX. Tickets and departure boards use the two-letter IATA code; air traffic control and flight data use the three-letter ICAO code.
