Australia's biggest airshow. Trade days first, then public days February 26 to 28, opening with a Friday night show.
What to look for
The show starts before the gates open. Performers, display teams and their support aircraft usually fly in a day or two early, and many teams practice over the field before the weekend. If you live nearby, look up in the days leading in.
Static displays often bring aircraft you’d rarely see overhead, and they fly in and out too. Arrivals and departures on the Friday and the Monday are a spotter’s best chance at a rare catch.
