The story
Airbus gave the A330 the neo treatment — new Rolls-Royce engines and A350-style sharklets. Cheaper than an A350 and still impressively efficient.
The Trent 7000's fan is 112 inches across, up from 97.5 inches on the older A330's Trent 700, so Airbus had to mount the nacelles higher on the wing.
