The story
The EC155 is a widened, stretched Dauphin with a five-blade Spheriflex rotor, a Fenestron tail and room for up to 13 passengers. It shuttles VIPs, offshore crews and police teams, and the H160 has since taken its place in the Airbus lineup.
The first EC155 flew in 1997 using a modified Dauphin airframe; the whole point was a bigger cabin.
