The story
The H160 is Airbus Helicopters' new-generation medium twin. Its Blue Edge main rotor blades have a double-swept tip that cuts blade-vortex noise by 3 to 4 dB, and it was the first civil helicopter with a canted Fenestron. France is buying the military H160M Guépard for all three services.
The H160's canted Fenestron and biplane tailplane work together to add about 80 kg of lift.
