The story
The Boeing Stearman was America's WWII primary trainer — big, loud, and forgiving enough to survive student pilots by the tens of thousands. After the war they dusted crops and looped over county fairs. The sound alone is a time machine.
Over 10,000 Stearmans were built, and after the war thousands of surplus ones went on to crop dusting, airshows and wing walking.
