The story
The SR22T is the turbocharged version of the best-selling single-engine piston aircraft in the world. It's fast, comfortable, glass-cockpit equipped, and comes with CAPS — a whole-airframe parachute that Cirrus says has brought more than 290 people home safely. Cirrus essentially reinvented what a personal airplane could be.
Its turbocharged engine uses low-compression pistons so it can run on 94-octane unleaded fuel, not just traditional leaded avgas.
