The story
The Guimbal Cabri G2 is a two-seat training helicopter designed by former Eurocopter engineer Bruno Guimbal. A composite airframe, a three-blade main rotor and a shrouded Fenestron tail rotor make it noticeably quieter than older rivals, and it has become a favourite of flight schools that want something more modern than a Robinson.
When EASA certified it in 2007, the Cabri was the first new two-seat piston helicopter certified in more than 30 years.
