The story
When Van's scaled up to four seats, they kept the same go-fast DNA: an aluminum airframe with a composite cabin and gull-wing doors, real luggage room, and close to 200 mph cruise on a Lycoming six. Over a thousand have been built in garages and hangars, and they run with factory-built four-seaters that cost far more.
The RV-10 was the first four-seater in Van's RV line, and the first RV with no canopy to slide or tilt: you climb in through two gull-wing doors.
