The story
Van's RVs are the most numerous kit aircraft family ever built, and the RV-14 is the roomy, modern one: an aerobatic two-seater sized for big pilots and real baggage, built in garages, hangars and basements by ordinary people who end up with a 210-horsepower sport plane.
By 2023 more than 11,000 Van's RVs were flying, the most of any homebuilt aircraft family.
