The story

The A350-900 is the baseline A350 and by far the most common, with more than 600 delivered. Qatar Airways put it into service on Doha to Frankfurt in January 2015, and it now flies for Singapore Airlines, Air France, Delta and dozens more. Carbon-composite fuselage, curling wingtips and the dark mask around the cockpit windows make it one of the easiest widebodies to name at a glance.

Fun fact

On 11 October 2018 a Singapore Airlines A350-900ULR left Singapore for Newark and landed 17 hours 52 minutes later, the longest flight in the world at the time.
