The story
The Bonanza went into production in 1947 and stayed there longer than any other aircraft in history. The A36 is the stretched, straight-tailed six-seater of the family: fast, smooth, and expensive to keep. In late 2025 Textron said it would end Bonanza production once its last orders were built.
The Model 36 is a Bonanza stretched by 10 inches, with double doors on the right side of the rear cabin so six people and their bags can actually get in.
