The story
The 737-600 was the short member of the Next Generation family, launched by SAS in 1995 and first flown in January 1998. Airlines wanted bigger jets, so only 69 were built, the last going to WestJet in 2006. A few still fly with operators such as Air Algérie and Tunisair, and a small fleet of white -600s with a red cheatline shuttles workers out of Las Vegas for the U.S. Air Force under the callsign Janet.
Winglets were never an option on the 737-600. WestJet planned to fit them to its -600s but dropped the idea in 2006.
